Which remedy fits which situation?
Enforcement suits unique goods or work you cannot source elsewhere. Cancellation with a refund suits cases where trust has gone or time has passed. Compensation sits alongside either. We set out the choices with their cost and likely time before you commit.
Why is formal notice so important?
Under the UAE Civil Transactions Law, a party seeking cancellation or enforcement is generally expected to give notice. A notarised legal notice proves the date and content, and starts any cure period. Informal chasers do not do this job.
What if performance has become impossible?
Where performance becomes impossible through events outside either party's control, the contract may fall away and each side must account for what was paid. We look at whether the event really made performance impossible or only more expensive, because the law treats those differently.

Can I ask the court to force performance?
In some cases, yes. It depends on the nature of the obligation. Often compensation is more practical.
What if the other side offers late performance?
Accepting it may waive your right to cancel. Get advice before you accept or refuse.
